Today I graduated from a 3 day motorcycle operators course class.
1st day bookwork
2nd day road work till lunch then bookwork.
3rd day road work till lunch then it started raining. Taking the final road test on wet pavement. Oh what joy oh what fun. And I passed. However no pictures of me on my ass with my training bike on top of me during the training/practice runs in the rain.
Oh well at least I have my sliced up boot to remind me why I should always wear boots when riding. I hate to think what my ankle would have looked like.
So now I'll be out riding my SCOOTER but not in the rain. I hate to think how sore I will be when I wake up in the morning.
I never understood why I could go over tree stumps until the instructor explained it. Being able to do a wheelie has something to do with it. But hey I don't think my scooter will be doing many stumps here in Nevada.
Difference between scooter and motorcycle? My scooter has ALL controls on the handlebars. No clutch, no shifting. Rear brake is left hand.
I printed out the training diagrams from the MSF motorscooter manual and we just happen to have a very large empty shopping mall a couple of blocks away so I can set up my very own personal training course. So who knows what S.E.E. stands for?
