I TWITTER DO YOU

I twitter do you? I enjoy twitter and all the tools offered by 3rd parties. Like tweetergetter, backtweets, mosaic, timer and others.

Pretty cool stuff. Plus it makes it a lot easier for me to keep up with my mentors and for others to keep up with me.

Well short post I guess. I did papercrete today. I'm taking an online test at the moment and my love is about to get home.. Just buzzed me on the radio..

Sunday's Trip to Arches

Foot Sore Dog
Sunday March 8 2009
Well I reached the mountain at 1:00PM got home at 4:59PM hey my sister called while I was gone. My guess is her roommate told her about the email I sent to HER!..

Anyway I have two main area's that I climb in. The first area starts out with nice round river rocks and is easy for the dogs. They just don't like me using them as canary's in the mine shafts.

The second area I climb in is volcanic rock with violent upthrusts. I have to wear gloves. I did NOT THINK before taking the dogs with me.

Ok, so everybody made it to the top of the mountain ok. I got some great pictures. Now I need to find the camera cable. I forgot to put in a memory chip. (Maxtor external H.D. cable works)

Now on the way down the mountain I found out dogs don't like climbing down - really rough cut your hand kind of rock. The two boys made it all the way down no problem.

Gave them some water and emptied my old "alice" backpack. Took a little water, a lease, and my empty pack about a 1/4 of the way back up the mountain where Misty was stuck on a ledge.

1st I gave her some water. Lifted her off the ledge and she collapsed under a bush. Coaxing did not work. Tried some Beef Jerky no go. Took the collar off Charlie and put that on Misty.

Dragging was not going to work. She rolled over and played dead.
Last resort. Pick her up and stuff her in the backpack.. Head out, pull the drawstring tight so she cannot get out.

She did not like it when I put the pack on -- rolled over and stood up. It took me a minute to get my balance and for her to stop trying to jump out. I did not much like it either. She weighs over 50 pounds.

Ok, we got her down to the truck and out of the bag. Gave the dogs a big bowl of water and I started picking up the wood that someone had dumped in the area. Hey gotta get firewood - wherever you find it in the desert.

Misty could not even jump into the truck when I was ready to leave. Had to pick her up. As soon as we got home she jumped out and is now snoring on the floor beside me. I think all 4 dogs are now sleeping.

Misty was limping and whining, the boys are out in the Living Room and Lady the old girl is so close to my chair I dare not move. Well that's it for this update.

TUES March 10 - Misty still limping, Duke cut his paw pad here at the house and is now doing the 3 legged dog trick. Charlie is his bouncy, dancing self.

Crazy Ideas & Questions

I forgot to check my forex account on Sunday. Better open that up in a new window. Ok, That's a yippie I made money. Which begs the question

I have a managed forex account. I put money in. I check it and watch it grow. I do not touch it or withdraw any money. Do I have to declare it on my IRS taxes?

I get up a lot and walk outside to look at the trees in the day and the stars at night. I do some of my best thinking then. By the time I get back inside I forgot what was hot!

I need a wireless headset so that if I talk while I'm outside it will WRITE the info for me. Not a voice recorder I've got a ton of those.

My Vista Speech engine is driving me crazy. I've got it set to autostart with the PC but every single time I have to go into the control panel and set options and run through the tutor to get it to work for this session.

Reboot and it's not where it should be. Anyone got any ideas.

Well I got my mates taxes done. Now I have to do mine.. Nightmare time. All those online business expenses. Oh don't forget the state business license. Then I need the credit card statements. The 401K statements. The IRA statements. The home office deductions.

Oh deductions for when I have to drive to town to get an intenet connection. The extra dial up connection for when the satalight goes down.. Busy busy busy...

Is your Family Taken Care Of?

Off to a Gruesome start here.

The question being "Is Your Family Taken Care Of? If you should die tonight or tomorrow who is going to decide who get what in your family. Your WILL or the laws of your local court, which may make awards that were you alive you would not like.

Think you can't die? Your way to young? My brother died at 42 overnight heart attack. My cousin 2 years later same way.

A sudden death in the family has a way of jolting everyone in the family to a local lawyers office to see about getting a will done.

Here in the Las Vegas area a simple will for a single person can easily run over $500 PLUS you lose time - you have to secudle an appointment. You have to drive to his/her office.

You could buy simple will making software. Read the fine print... Will it be legal in your state.

What worked for me? http://tinyurl.com/makewill
Read the 10 Reason's You should have a will. Then click the link at the bottom of the page that says: Click here for Immediate Online Will Preparation Services.

Your will well be legal in your state. Simple or complicated my team can handle it. Do you need a lawyer? Probably not!

Blondie is now living in Colorado

On Thurs Jan 29, 2009 I took Blondie into Las Vegas and delivered her into my sisters hands.

Now that dog knew that something was up and was very unhappy about it.

When I left my Dad's house Blondie was in the backyard.

When I got home I called and Blondie was already in the house. Kathy and Kristen left Las Vegas about 0530 on the 30th and were home before 830PM in Colorado Springs, Co.

Kathy said the dog had not done a potty the whole trip... OOPS I forgot to tell Kathy the secret word.. That was soon taken care of.

So here it is Sunday I will call and tell Kathy to post a comment so we will be able to keep up with what the dog is doing.

Meanwhile The boys are missing mom. Charlie has taken over her spot on the couch. Both boys run around the inside and outside the house looking for her when I let them loose.

So I'm working more on their training and playing ball with them.
